Your comment makes me ask myself, is it true that those who vote Democrat are supportive of higher tax rates? My immediate internal response is that this is a very broad statement and that most Democratic voters I know are mostly not supportive of higher tax rates. It seems that the general consensus amongst Democratic voters is lower taxes for everyone except for those with extremely high annual incomes, such as individuals earning more than one million per year and large corporations.
