When the concepts are let go of, all that is left is hearing. Without concepts, there is no subject or object of hearing, only hearing. Without concepts, there is no location for hearing. What is left is everything: nothing hearing. This sounds like nonsense to the mind because it is pointing to non-conceptual, bare reality.
