Sliding into the compassionate nihilism of the East isn’t what made the West great.

What I’m writing about has nothing to do with nihilism or the East/West.

Madame Curie was not real and her contribution had nothing to do with a self?

Huh? Of course Curie was did stuff (apparently). She was successful in spite of potentially thinking she was separate from life. She was successful to the extent that she forgot about self and was in flow.

This can only be answered with something like logical positivism. Respect your senses and discern that which is obviously real. Transitory is not synonymous with unreal.

I absolutely respect my senses. Show me “self.” It’s nowhere to be found. Self is a concept with no basis in reality. It’s the ultimate non-concrete “thing” masquerading as “real.”

You are not a ghost automaton.

There’s no ghost. There is a brain/body machine that can do amazing things. What kind of woo-woo stuff are you promoting?

If not a belief in God — get a grip and at least respect mankind.

I respect mankind enough to tell it the truth. Self is an illusion that is limiting your potential. And there’s nothing wrong with it.

Without right and wrong we are lower than dogs.

Without right and wrong, we are free. There is no lower and higher. There is only unfettered creativity.
