That’s the point. Nothing is experiencing quale. There is no subject/object separation. Quale appear with no witness. The false axiom that the illusion of separation will not, cannot, let go of is that there is real separation. Quale appear with no real context and therefore with no witness. They are wholeness appearing as quale, to no one. This is very obvious once it’s revealed.

Another interesting question is why consciousness exists at all.

It doesn’t exist except as an illusion (its doesn’t really exist). But ultimately, there is no “why” anything exists.
