Yes, sometimes the perpetrators are older children. I have no doubt that these children were themselves abused and were acting-out what happened to them. I’m sorry you had to go through all of that. I have heard many stories from women who were molested as children and then raped as women. All of this is too prevalent in our society.

I have come to understand how dangerous and scary our world is for women and children, and I feel sad that we men are not able to make it a safer place for you all. On behalf of all men, I am so sorry.
