No. My intention with this statement is that we can spend a lot of energy and effort doing things that lead to minimal results. When we spend time slowing down and purifying the mind, it leads to clarity of thought and inspiration that results in much more effective use of our time and energy. The things we decided to focus on, and the way we spend our time, ends up producing much more volume and quality of results. Meditation (Vipassana in particular) is exceedingly practical because it makes us massively more effective in the world.
