Mechanized attempts to measure and control employee output are attempts to compensate for poor relational management. A great leader will trust and communicate with the people they lead, so they don’t need to “check” and control. Then the process becomes one of supporting, encouraging, and appreciating. That’s you get sustainable 10x growth.
