It’s surprisingly rare to find people who practice introspection anywhere in the world, including in California. Also, in my experience, the most self-aware, self-realized, and self-actualized people in the world do not self-identify as spiritual, and those who consider themselves spiritual are often some of the least self-aware people you’ll meet.
