I guess psychopaths have locked their wounded (traumatized) children up inside so thoroughly that when they get triggered their heart rates actually decrease. I guess we could detect psychopathy by monitoring someone’s heart rate while shaming them, and seeing it go down. That’s a very dangerous experiment though.
