I don’t see my wife as a child. She is a woman, and more so because she contains a child. It sounds like you have some kind of belief about me and my wife that doesn’t seem to resonate with our reality. In any given piece of writing, I express only limited sets of perspectives, and I exercise my creative freedom without being concerned too much about being misunderstood.

It sounds like there might be some kind of tension happening in your world about adult / child, and respect, or feeling respected or not respected. None of my business of course.
