I don’t know what zen is. I’m not a Zen meditator. However, I do a lot of vipassana meditation. That practice develops skill in awareness and equanimity, that enables one to flow through life in harmony with reality as-it-is, from moment-to-moment. The added ability of the mind to focus also helps with choosing outcomes, but that is a side-effect.
