I don’t think that salvation / nirvana / samadhi exists. I know it does. It’s not a state of pure awareness however. It’s the revelation of how reality truly is. It’s the “natural state” although it’s not really a state; it’s the end of the illusion of states. It’s all there is; there is only salvation / nirvana / samadhi.
