Great question. I seem to mostly have lunch with men, probably because of the industry I’m in, but I also meet with quite a few women, both married and single. I don’t seem to have a problem with them suspecting that I might be a serial killer or a rapist. I think that’s probably because I either work in the same company as them or I know them through people they trust. It might also be because they know me through my writing or other online presence.
The sex, gender, or sexual orientation of the people I meet with do not seem to be a relevant factors, at least for the kind of meetings that I have.
