So this is what happens: the self-illusion drops away, revealing the absolute. The absolute is not conscious or aware. The self-illusion comes back and claims: “Ah, I am bliss! I am oneness! I am everything; supreme consciousness.” No. This is what the absolute becomes when it’s claimed by a self-illusion and seen through the lens of the self-illusion. The absolute is simply what seems to be happening: boundless, free, unborn, unchanging, yet for no one.
