Hi John, It sounds like you’re asking for evidence that narcissism is a reaction to non-integrated trauma. I’m sure there’s research, but nothing is as powerful as thousands of hours of personal experience digging around in people’s psyches. As an experienced coach and therapist I can tell you that all dysfunctional behavior is driven by non-integrated traumas. Every other therapist or coach that I have ever discussed this with agrees with me.
