Haha. No, I don’t suffer from bipolar disorder, but my life does move fast. The story spans a period of over 20 years, and I have two career tracks: electrical engineering / computer science (undergrad and masters) and clinical psychology (PhD). The EE/CS career is how I ended up moving to Silicon Valley after only two years of starting work. I have been a professional engineer for 15 years (so far).

In fact, I have a tendency to not pivot frequently enough or quickly enough. A few years into my PhD program, I realized that I really wanted to start a technology company, but instead I stuck with the PhD.
