Experience requires an experiencer and something to be experienced. There is only what appears to be happening. For example, what we call seeing is happening, but it is happening for no one. There is no seer and nothing is seen. There is only seeing. Whether seeing constitutes “existing” is another matter. Existing seems to be a superfluous concept that the self clings onto because for it to be real everything else must be real. Everything that appears to be happening is at the same time emptiness. All there is is real-unreal.
