Adding more about this: the self-illusion cannot believe that it’s absolutely superfluous. The me believes that there cannot be amazement without there being someone who claims it, someone who is amazed. The me believes that there cannot be seeing without someone who claims it, someone who sees. The me believes that everything that seems to be happening is dependent upon its existence, is happening for it. Yet, even though the me does not exist at all, everything is exactly as it is already.
